Empfindlichkeit: CPL und Budget bei anderer Conversion-RateSensitivity: CPL and budget at other conversion rates
| Conversion-RateConversion rate | CPL | Budget für Ziel-LeadsBudget for target leads |
|---|
How to read it: if CPL is above the “max affordable CPL” (job value × margin × booking rate), Google Ads leads earn nothing on balance. Nobody knows the conversion rate before launch; after 2–4 weeks the real value from the account is entered. All formulas ›

- In the Google Ads account click Tools (wrench) → Planning → Keyword Planner.
- Choose “Get search volume and forecasts”.
- Paste the campaign’s starter keywords (playbook, Keywords section) and click Get started.
- At the top set Locations to the same region as the campaign (radius/postcodes), language German, network Google only.
- Forecast tab: period “Next month”, bid strategy “Manual CPC” and max CPC = CPC from the calculator.
- Read clicks, cost and avg CPC. If clicks are below “clicks needed” in the calculator, the lead target is not reachable in that area: widen the area or lower the target.
- For scenarios use Tools → Planning → Performance Planner once the campaign has ~2 weeks of data; it uses the real conversion rates.
- Enter Google’s CPC in the “Avg CPC” field above; the result is the basis for the monthly budget.
